Help with radio diversity box

Hello I have a 05 Cooper S and replaced the rotted hatch with a nice one and during unhooking, unplugging I broke the locking tab off the yellow connector that plugged into the radio diversity amp. The connector will plug in but after bumps and regular driving the connector works it’s way out loosing radio reception. Ives tried gluing and using zip ties but nothing works. I bought another connector that had tow be spliced but it’s a special fiber optic with carbon material wrapping it. So the splice didn’t work. What can I do or how can I bypass the diversity amp to get reception?
