seat covers?

I've just ordered a dark silver MCS convertible with leatherette seats...I have those in my '04 MC but have found they don't breath well (aka my butt gets hot in warm weather...I know too much information). So I wondered what people think of the fabric seat covers...I'm thinking tartan red to give an otherwise neutral car some color...what do u think?

Keep in mind that your seat has an airbag in it and may not deploy correctly if the seat covers weren't made for a seat with an airbag.

The OEM MINI covers are very nice and breathable. A little irritating to install, but a decent investment. Classic MINI sold them at a great price.

I have had the tartan red covers, front and rear, for over a year now. Looks fabulous with Pepper White. I am very pleased with them. You can also have something stitched on the head rest covers too.

QueenB those look awesome...so they come as a black & red composite like that? I think the earlier post about the airbag is an important consideration so will probably go with these Thanks for the pics!

Thanks. The Wet Okole seat covers accommodate the airbag and can be customized a variety of ways. You can find them on-line. I considered them as they are about the same money as the OEM covers but in the end the tartan red won out. I do love them. They fit very well. There is a little bunching of fabric on the front/seat portion at the back hinge but acceptable.
