Recently 1 week ago had a Big valve head, Dominator cam, 450cc injectors, shorty header w/ cat and a tune done by RMW. Now car is throwing a 1689 code and going into limp mode. Happens when in bumper to bumper traffic. On and off throttle in first gear. Happen twice coming home after work . Same spot on road before getting onto on ramp to freeway. After pulling over and clearing codes. Car starts right up and I jump on freeway with no problems at 75mph for next 30 minutes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

I think throttle map is overtuned,is the usual mistake made by RMW.I can try to help you.Please send me a private message if you want.

 

Any resolution on this? I’m considering those same RMW mods and would love hear your thoughts on working with RMW, performance results, and any issues (like this code).
