So I wanted to install a Bluetooth obd2 shift light along with my multi gauge. Buuut my car cannot supply enough power through the splitter to power both. Can I unhooked a wire from my stock obd input and run a power wire strait to it so I know for sure it's getting full power ? I seen there are 6x pins if I remember correctly in it , 2x on the bottom and 4x on the top , which one is power ?
iiiiiiiiif i cannot get the splitter working Im picking my shift light over my multi gauge but then I NEED to be able to monitor coolant Temps accurately so I will need to install an auxiliary water temp guage wich isn't a big issue BUT what coolant hoses do I need to tap into in order to get accurate coolant Temps BEFOR the thermostat opens and what mm is that hose so that I can order the correct size splice on piece. OR could I run the signal wire from the water temp gauge to ? Instead of running an auxiliary sensor n stuff ???
thanks for the help guys , it's ALWAYS very much appreciated !
but here's a sneak peak on how the cars coming...

I'm going to be heading down to work on the car in a few hours. Anybody have any insight on providing more or a better source to power the obd port ?? I found this schematic but it doesn't quit match my pinout in my port.
