OS Giken LSD

I have the ability to purchase the OS GIKEN LSD for half the retail price with bearings. It is a used LSD about 1500 miles. Should I be worried about anything going wrong with it. I have heard that it is more of a track orientated LSD. Would it be ok for a Daily/ Autox car. It is the same price as a Quafe so it could be something I might get.

Not sure I would buy a used clutch type LSD. Why is previous owner getting rid of it? For mainly a daily drier car, I would get a Quaife or MFactory mechanical diff. The clutch style LSDs can be finicky if the fluid isn't just right.
