Word of caution to all NAM members: "DO NOT USE " Chemical Guys products because they do not guarantee anything ...After dealing with customer service, I complained about the damage their VRP Protectant had done to the interior hard plastic parts that had been coated with this water-based protectant causing me to replace all the hard plastic parts on the interior of my car...
I happen to be a big fan of VRP. I use it exclusively and regularly on my tires and exterior black plastic trim. I have been thoroughly satisfied with it and have been through at least 3 bottles of it.
I have used it on the interior plastics (dash, trim, etc...) of both of my cars with good results as well. Admittedly, I don't detail my interiors as frequently as my exteriors but I have found it leaves a nice, clean appearance and not overly shiny like Armor All tends to finish. It also is not greasy.
I want to put out there that I have no interest in Chemical Guys aside from I use or have used some of their products. Some (like VRP) I really like, other products from them I don't like as well as competitor products but none have caused any damage to my cars. Additionally, I believe there may be a statement in the directions to "test in an inconspicuous area" prior to use.
To be specific, I applied the VRP protectant to the door panels on my 2020 Explorer Sport and both front panels were severely discolored, after the second application the panels had to be replaced . It did not affect any exterior plastics/rubber or any other plastics on the interior ? I did as always tested VRP in an inconspicuous spot on the Interior with no such reaction. Chemical Guys Hypercoat G6 was what was recommended for interior by CG ‘s and they will not guarantee their products either.

Sounds like user error in application (and also buying a Honda Accord)
no issue here with VRP. Used it all over engine bay grills, interior plastics etc. turn stalks etc. I didn’t rub off any lettering either.
some of their products are great, some are merely good, some are middling. None are “bad” I just like Lexol’s cleaner & conditioner better for certain tasks, while dg is a more gressive cleaner and a less conditioning conditioner fo example.
I personally think the reason they have such a range is that middle aged housefrau and non car people won’t buy something not labeled specifically for the job at hand. They are probably the same people who think windex is only for cleaning windows, and if a little is good, 4 x as much will save 4x the time and effort.
so sorry, not going to not use DG because ford makes a <obese nifty> product out of recycled materials.
Honestly that’s where your ire should be aimed.
