I was at the dealer today going ov er last minute finance crap. Since my car is here and because of paperwork issues I wont get her till late next week she took pity on me and offered me the keys to the test MCS. Black white roof almost like mine :smile: I tried to think of a reason to not go... couldn't... hehehee. It was such a blast!!! OMG!!! It was the little emotional pick up that I needed to get through the next week of looking at my car trapped behind the wire of the dealership. The only other time I have driven one was back on the day that I ordered my baby March 22, 2002. Yup yup American deploy day!!! 9 Months later... who says a guy cant have a baby!!!

Glad you at least got to get behind the wheel, but just out of curiosity, why couldn't you test drive your own baby? Seems silly not to be able to "test" drive a car that essentially belongs to you! Have patience, the wait is well worth it!

 

Mine is down in the prep area, they could have brought her up I guess but wy not take the test model and be a little more aggresive than I want to be with my baby till she is broken in ehehehe at 90Mph i decided to slow down after all it was on a city street (office park area no cars anywhere around) ... tough decision though i could have shifted into 5th instead ahaha (i was stillin 4th!! ) OMG i cant wait to get this baby and a radar detector

 

When I returned the MCS after my test drive, I realized that I had forgotten to go beyond third gear. Every time I got past second gear, I just wanted to turn and turn HARD!

One more week for me too!
