R50/53 Knocking issue
Knocking issue
I have a issue where I’m hearing a mild knock coming from mid engine to bottom by the oil pan I have a single mass flywheel but pressing the clutch doesn’t make the noise stop and the knock follows the rpm and I can’t tell where exactly it’s coming from
where would I shop it to I’m out in south Texas as of now
Dude let's hold onto hope a bit longer. Others will be along with ideas. Just saying that a sample can rule out, or in a bearing.

I agree lol I’ve just never had to send oil samples so idk where to ship it but I mean it runs fine and doesn’t sound like devastating rod knock noise it just sounds off if that makes sense
My lab i use is in fl. Costs me $18 plus shipping. 24 hours results. Lots of good labs in TX, ms and la.
I use motorcheck. There's better labs closer to you. I only suggest this as you use the word knock. Not rattle, click, grind or squeak. If you need help pm me. No problem. And I hope others have better ideas.

I can’t hear much from the video. Towards the end I hear a clicking? That could be a number of things I’d guess

So I’ve done some work since the last post what I’ve found is one of the plastic guides holding the rocker arms in place had cracked in half and failed but I also went to check the bearings and they all looked fine for how I treat the motor no oil starvation or anything and none are spun but even after fixing the plastic guide it’s still ticking/knocking when it’s warm
