Asap power steering warranty

So my r53 got its hydraulic electric power steering recall fixed last year.. the pump is supose to come with a 2 year warranty.. since mine failed again just after 15 months. The service manager is saying it expired in 2016.. lol but I just had it fixed at mini in 2019... so pretty much he's trying to make his own rules up.. it took 2 days for the tech to find out the pump is bad.. when I told him it's bad... this is unbelievable there with corporate waiting... I called a different mini dealership and they said of course it's covered under a 2 year/unlimited miles, so what should I really do? Tell them there full of crap? Like they are?

Report Receipt Date: OCT 15, 2015
NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V660000
Component(s): STEERING
Potential Number of Units Affected: 86,018

Manufacturer: BMW of North America, LLC
SUMMARY:
BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain model year 2002-2005 MINI Cooper and Cooper S vehicles and 2005 Cooper and Cooper S Convertible vehicles. The affected vehicles may experience temporary or permanent loss of the electro-hydraulic steering assistance.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the vehicle experiences a loss of power steering assist, extra steering effort will be required at lower speeds, potentially iincreasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
REMEDY:
MINI will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the electro-hydraulic power steering system, replacing the components and wiring, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin December 1, 2015. Owners may contact MINI customer service at 1-866-825-1525.
NOTES:
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Get the second Mini dealership to send you something in writing about it being under a 2 year warranty. Take that into the dealership and confront them. I would not do a confrontation without some kind of paperwork in hand.

Welp I told them they need to stand beyond there warranty and fix the problem... I told them your other dealership is willing to warranty and why aren't you? Well I got a phone call about 4 hours later saying your car is ready for pickup, your balance is 0$ and paid in full from mini of North America... but since they gave me a 2021 cooper s manual... I'm really stuck over the F56 Vs the R53 😆
