Can you tap/die or chase the studs that hold the heat shields together with body nuts
A lot of these studs are pretty corroded and I can’t imagine chasing or a tap/die would work. I think chasing would accomplish nothing and a die would probably struggle since it’s not a uniform shape due to the corrosion.
I’m just trying to clean up small details and wonder if anything can be done. I’m sure the body nut will hold onto whatever is there, but it’d be nice to get some to have some more uniformity.
