HELP! No start?

I just replaced my cam in my 05 R53 but forgot to release the chain tensioner so when I started it chain jumped off and sheared the cam sensor. Bought a new chain and replaced and timed by the book. Got everything buttoned back up and excited to start but now it won’t. Checked the codes and came back as a po341 cam sensor. Pulled it back apart to check again and everything looks good. I checked the new cam sensor with another by a multimeter and both were the same. What has happened?

Did you make sure you put the cam gear back correctly. As in backwards?

I had it in correctly but can these scratches cause a low input for the cam sensor?
