I drove my new MCS to work and to a contractors meeting at a jobsite yesterday. These were the following actual comments, no kidding:

What is it?

It is very small, isn't it?

I want one.

At least its not Korean.

I want one.

How do you fit your golf clubs in it?

Are you gay?

I bet you get good gas mileage it that thing.

When are you going to grow up?

I want one.

Your kidding, right?

My wife won't let me get one of those!

I bet you can get chicks in that thing...Do the seats recline all the way?

I want one.

Whats the insurance on that?

Cool.

I have a PT Cruser.

You're dead meat if you get hit by a truck.

I want one.

If you can put a ladder rack on it , I will by one.

What on earth possesed you.

Where did you buy that?

Why?

I want one.

I've had great responses to My Sharona from my employees and co-workers. Their ages range from 22 to 72 - and they all want to ride in her!

If this is going to be the "gay" car of 2003 then who is going to name their MINI...

"Just Jack" ?

Well, my experience with my gay friends is that they tend to have very good taste and style.

I'm not bothered one bit to share the MINI experience with our G/L brothers and sisters!

Hee hee, too funny.....probably true, but we know gay men have great taste! I live in San Francisco and have seen many a MINI being driven by males..but who cares if they are gay or not!?!? They just look so damn good in their MINIs!

I just picked up my MINI yesterday and now my boyfriend wants an MCS...he's not afraid, he's secure with his masculinity and is quite in touch with his feminine side!

Was going to post a comment that I got but then determined it would be offensive to our female population. Although I was thinking that if I was single that it (the car) would attract a lot to get what they commented on. Those who are single are lucking to have this car as are we married persons.

When I told my co-office workers I was bringing my MINI, they thought I was going to bring it up the elevator into the office. After the jokes of which MINI I was talking about, my tallywhacker or the car, they all agree its great looking. Nobody else has had nearly as many requests to view their car as I have had.....and most of the other cars are double to triple the price of mine.

When I suggested that this might be so a couple of months ago, I was bashed here on MCO. It really got out of hand.....so much that the moderators deleted all posts. I've been afraid to mention the g-word ever since.
