2005 w/ SatNav video adapter interface

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a video adapter interface to add a video feed (say rear backup camera) or other media to the factory sat nav screen.

Saw something way back but it’s costly. Seen someone replaced it with a tablet. And you can run OBD app for gauges like torque

I’ve thought about doing something like this with the NAV if the parts are still available and affordable.

My OEM NAV screen is pretty dim during the day. That’s the only problem I see with it.

On FB I saw a guy had done this and I love it.

Any contact info, or details on how this was done?

Looking for options to make better use of the real estate occupied by my NAV screen.

I'm not aware of any guides on how to do that, but for my stock satnav I thought about doing something similar to what this guy did. Displaying info on the stock screen, and perhaps adding a backup camera.

On YouTube there are some videos of people doing custom things with the satnav, but the iPad in the center seems like a more involved project.

Thanks. I'm not on Facebook, and "Dave Koz" is the name of a Jaz, musician, so a web search doesn't help much.

Do you have any advice or information on how you did this? I have a 2005 with factory Nav and really want to do what you've done here. Thanks!
