They are the same side markers on the rear bumper across all of the r53 bumpers be it the aero, standard cooper S, or the GP (which is simply based on the standard cooper S with some different trim attached to it. I did manage to break one of mine while taking it out so I replaced that as park of the installation. I also had to purchase a new tow hook cap because it’s a different shape to the one from the aero kit.

I am in Montreal. This is my 4th Mini. I picked it up 3 weeks ago and am deep into the refresh with lots of parts on the way (My poor SQ5 is feeling neglected). It has 38k km, Milltek exhaust & headers, Alta intake and pulley, sway bars, and a Unichip, koni’s and some other bits. Super fun to drive again. I’m trying to sort out what to do for my wheels (I have 3 sets but undecided how to refinish one) ordered a JCW brake kit and the aero side skirts are going out for paint and I love the GP trim to complement it. The reflector part number is different for the GP trim than it is for the S bumper which is why I was asking.

Anyways, here is the collection. The Countryman is my wifes. Clubman is unfortunately gone for the SQ5, sad to have made that trade we just needed 1bigger hauler. The hyper blue r53 was my first and what started this mess.

A few weeks ago I went down to Montana with some friends so we could drive the road to the sun.
great trip and got some good pictures. Before heading down I found the time to look a few things over for the 1000km (600 mile trip) as well as give her a very nice bath and decontamination of the paint. She shines up really nice just in time to gather lots of bugs on the front end.

The Mini gets to hang with some precious metal

my good friend Dave got this fun shot from behind which I enjoy because you don’t often get to take those ones of your own car.

the same good friend hung out the passenger window to get these rollers while I did my best to place the car

Road to the Sun is well worth it, but you’ll need a glacier day (or season) park pass, and if you’re headed bottom to top after 7am you’ll need to reserve a time for scheduled departure through the gate. We ended up driving top to bottom (so more like road to the darkness) which was pretty cool, knowing we’d get to drive it as god intended the following morning, retracing our tread from bottom to the top.

Unfortunately I experienced a breakdown near the bottom of the pass, which was around 420kms in to the drive that day. This was a little disappointing as I really didn’t want to hold up the group - but it is what it is and they were all very supportive. Crank pulley was failing and was damaging the serp belt. I could smell the burning rubber, and the car elected for limp mode. After letting it cool down k was able to nurse it to Columbia falls, about 50-60kms away where the next morning I was able to find a mechanic to leave it with. I hitched a ride for the rest of the trip with my friends, knowing I’d have to come back and do this all again in a few weeks to retrieve the car.

. Totally dig what you’ve done to your JCW & curious where the seat heater buttons came from ? Also , do you have a link for the carbon fiber dash & door trim pieces ?

seat heater buttons came with the heating pads that we fitted in to the sparco seats (these were the non heated ones from the factory. I couldn’t figure out how to make them work with the OEM switches as the OEM ones are multi stage vs these are just on and off) The interior carbon units were from
an eBay store called tuningstarltd

If you have the pigtails.... you can use the factory switches and wire them into a latching-relay.. Just find the momentary on wire and use that.... wire to an Ignition 12v source and it will turn off/reset to off when you turn off the car.

Plenty avail on Amazon etc
