JCW Aero side skirts - Yellow

This looks very nice in my opinion.
I have a message into my MA to get prices for just the side skirts.
JCW aero kits are available in the States at this point aren't they?

Just so no one is confused, that appears to be just the aero kit skirts, the front and rear bumpercovers look to be the stock MCS parts.

Yes the JCW aero kits are available, but I have not seen separate pieces broken out pricewise yet (just full kit pricing).

Thanks Dave.
I have seen UK pricing on MINI2 for the side skirts individually.
Is there any reason the a la carte pieces might not become available in the US soon? Like by the time I take delivery in a few weeks?

I picked up side skirts from my dealer last week for an '05. I think the list price was about $240 per side, ready to paint. No idea on the new model though.

Do you have any numbers ($) for reference?

I haven't done any auto moding but I'm actually thinking about installing these myself.

Anyone know if the R53 aero kits were difficult and whether they should actually be installed in a real shop or dealership?
Are there special tools involved?

I've seen the installation instructions and they seem pretty complete.
If it saves a few hundred I might scope out local auto repair shops for pricing. Paint matching is a concern (I'm very picky) but a good shop should be able to get the paint formulation right.
Am I being naive on this?

I figured out my confusion on the JCW aero kit.
My dealer (the largest volume in the US) said that the components of the kit and the complete JCW kit itself, if installed at the dealer, will not be available until the middle of April.
I was confused by some people getting their new MINIs with the kit delivered in a week or two but they must be FACTORY installed.
DUH, don't know why I couldn't figure this out before.

That's good to see. I've considered getting the sideskirts from the JCW kit. I like the front and rear of the factory S kit more that the JCW offering.
