I had to replace the drivers window regulator and bought a URO unit and looks to be of great quality but with the window all the way down the front leading glass sticks up about 1/2” from the belt line. If I adjust it to where you can’t see it then it doesn’t fit at the top weatherstrip and will have a gap. Is it normal to see a bit of glass sticking up since it’s new thinking the other one had cable stretch causing it to drop lower all the way?

 

I think you're OK. I checked mine and it does stick up 1/2" or so from the belt line and closes properly in all respects.
