Way Cool! MINI reindeer in a parade.
The Atlanta MINIs were in a parade Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia. They did an amazing job and truly said Happy Holidays from the MINI community. Props to you guys and keep on motoring.

I was the ASV driver and photographer of most of the exterior shots. It was really a great day! The looks on the kids faces when they saw the MINIs with the antlers was priceless. You just can't get any better than that.
In addition to that, my nephew was the driver of the Panoz Esparante that drove the Sports Grand Marshall of the parade. Way cool.
The parade was the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta parade. It's the second biggest Christmas parade in the US. The parade route went thru the middle of Atlanta and ended up at Centennial Olympic Park. People were 4 to 5 deep on both sides of the street for most of the route. It was also televised on the local ABC affiliate. Too bad we didn't get much airtime. Maybe next year!!
Minimom and CometGirl gets most of the credit for the great looking antlers. They are carved out of blue foam, covered with felt and then attached to a felt tube that wraps inside of the car. The two ends of the tube velcro together. Every tube is color matched to the roof color of the car. I'm telling you they are a work of art. Everyone also had reindeer noses attached to the grills. With of course Rudolph having a red one.
The graphics were created by an AtlantaMINIS club member E.T. Foss. He and Mamarazzi are in the yellow MINI - Dasher. E.T. has many years of experience with vinyl graphics. His experience really showed, they looked fantastic.
All of the AtlantaMINIS club members really showed the people of Atlanta what kind of people MINI owners are. The BEST!
Here's a group pic of all of the AtlantaMINIS members that participated in the parade.
