Hi, anyone has recommendations on great places servicing R53? I want to fix the door lock actuator and examine for any issue with the car as my R53 was never brought to major service except changing oil and filter myself.

 

In the North Bay I prefer Casey Motorsports, in Petaluma for my R53 MINI, independent BMW/MINI mechanic.

 

If you're on the peninsula or south bay, I'd recommend Mini Werks in San Carlos. Andrew runs a small shop, but has great service.

Thank you both for the pointers, I am in South Bay, so suggestions in South Bay or peninsula are great. Will look into Mini Werks.

 

For me the best in the bay area is Bay Bridge Motors in Oakland.
