Proud owner of a 2006 MY Cooper S. Still going strong, and seems to have the valve body issue common with the Aisin 6-speed auto. My current mechanic leaves a lot to desire, and would appreciate if any of you had good experiences with your mechanics in the Westchester area of NY, and would be willing to share the info.

 

Ive been using a guy in Yonkers, he is at 198 south broadway but you enter on Herriot St drive in and his bay is Straight ahead usually at the Middle lift. Ask for Jose his phone is 914. 979. 4541. But it was stolen last he told me so best to drive in to talk to him first. I buy my own parts and drive from Irvington been doing this for years bring oil and a filter he’ll change it and inspect your car tell you what you need.
