EML Problems

Other night I did a supercharger pulley reduction on my R53 and the next morning my EML light flashed on any idea of what might be happening? Should I take it to a shop and get them to run a diagnostics check on it.

EML is normally related to a fuel/air mix reading or oxygen sensor reading, or even a loose fuel cap.

Since you just did a pulley you added more fuel/air, it might blink from time to time until your adaptives adjust to the new mix ratio.

I would ignore it unless it comes on solid, but if you have a code reader you might want to check just to see what is popping the light.

Best of luck.

Found out it was a code, #P1498 seems to be the inlet duct assembly. I think it may of cracked, one of the sensors broke or one of the wire broke off which is a common thing that happens, been doing some research.
