Third brake light gasket
Does anyone know where to get a third brake light gasket?

make your own from some of that foam insulation tape from a hardware store

Another thing to note, If your brake light is cracked on the lens I would replace the entire assembly.

We just went with a whole new light. Just easier.

Did you ever find the gasket? I replaced mine once, so they were available at one time. Are they no longer available?

does anyone know were we can purchase a gasket for the third brake light? (i can't seem to find one on-line)

The gasket is part of the brake light assembly on all of the ones I’ve replaced. I seem to recall it looking similar to a bead of silicone run around the perimeter and bonded just to the light.

i've done at least two of these. i dont remember them being very expensive. i replaced the whole light with gasket

Yeah - it’s a crappy design. I’ve lost the lense twice. I just get new ones.
