R53 Clutch replacment

Hello all,

recently changed my clutch out with a Valeo conversion kit. Car shifts and drives. However, I have a lot of road noise and it doesn't feel that power is being put to the wheels very well. Am I being paranoid with the break in only being 30 or so miles or have I missed something?

Thanks you for any help in advance!

Did the same swap about a year ago. No noise, but I do have headers from Jan. Car was quiet from day 1.

Clutch grabs nicely, perhaps not quite as smoothly as original, but very close. I did break in for a couple of hundred miles and then just drove normally. No issues about getting power to the wheels.

So double check your work.

Regards,
Jerry
