I did a little work on my car today. I installed some smoked LED tail lights and they look so much better than the OEM imo. I also installed a back-up camera, which was quite the laboring process for that little camera. I had to take all the paneling out from the back seats back and of course the hatch.
Where can I pick up the replacement blacked out rings that go around the headlights? Do they replace the headlight washer piece too? The side badges also, do they make them black?
Speaking of headlight washers, how do you activate the headlight washers and how do you get fluid to squirt out of the rear windshield wiper blade? I didn't even know it squirted fluid until I had it apart today and seen the fluid line.
I know I need a new Mini badge. I dislike chrome, Does anyone make badges and triming?
I picked up a R52 JCW a while back, came with the same rear lights, except mine are clear compared to your smoked ones.......I'm not a real fan of them.....the LED light gets "washed out" in bright sunlight.......I'm considering changing mine out, just have not decided on what to replace them with......
I have an aftermarket set in my '04 R53, not sure if I want the same set in both cars or not.......
I also have the set of 4 clear smoked corner side marker lenses here, but have not had a chance to install them yet.....been too busy working on the R52 as of late

To operate the headlight washers, the headlights must be on and then turn the front wipers on and use the washers for the wipers, then the headlights should get wet...and it will only work every 3rd or 4th time
To operate the rear washer, turn the end cap on the right hand steering column stalk full clockwise, rear washer should work providing the washer bottle is full and there are no leaks in the rubber hoses
