Fuel pump not working. . .

Went to head to work last night and the Mini wouldn't start. No noise from the pump and oddly my fuel gauge didn't move when I turned the key on. Started probing around, checked fuses and tried the Fonzie trick to no avail. Unplugged the fuel pump so I could check for voltage when turning on the key and found my problem. .
Yes that's my fuel pump plug and it's no longer attached to the wiring harness thanks to some critter. If course the tank is nearly full and I'm going to have to pump it down and then drop the tank to splice the harness back together.

Finally got a break in the rain and repairs are underway. Luckily I won't have to remove the tank. Removal of the driver's side fender liner gave me access to the other end of the chewed off wire. Won't let me add photos though for some reason.
