well hey everyone, i have had my mini for a little over 4 months, and have just passed 9400 miles already. so i was just wondering what the average is from eveyone else.

as of now at the rate i am going, i will hit about 24000 miles in a year

so what's yours?

 

Because I live extremely close to where I work, less than 15 miles I don’t put many daily miles on my MCS, but I do lots of road trips which brings me up to around 15K a year.

 

185.65 miles per day average. 4,185.16 miles per month average. 46,887.96 miles per year. Now sitting at 113,100 miles on a 02 "S" rocket.

 

I think I'm averaging about 33,000 a year here in MN. Just passed over 65,000 miles on my '02 BRG MC.

It's the only car we have at the moment and we've taken a couple short road trips (2 1/2hrs) and a long road trip out west - 9 days, as far west as Las Vegas.

I'm so glad I didn't lease!

 

I have a 3 mile commute each way. With a few road trips, after 25 months I'm at 17,300 miles.

 

After two HUGE 6-week roadtrips, and a bunch of long trips here in Cali, Wanda is at just about 36K since April, 2003! SO MUCH FUN!!!

After three weeks of ownership, there are just under 2,000 on the MCS. Our MC was retired after 15,000 miles in 9 months.

 

After 2 years, 1 month and 1 day of ownership, I have 57k+ miles on mine. But I lived closer to my job the first year and a half so I'm putting on more miles currently than my average. I think I put on 25-26k miles in year one and around 31k this past year. I think it'll be more around 33-34k miles per year now. This is the ONLY car I could possibly own that I don't mind being "stuck" in all day. :smile:

 

I put on about 100miles per day on the weekends. I don't drive my MCS
during the week.

 

Two months and 2300 happy trouble free miles on my 05! The wife has about 1900 on her 04.

 

5 months (as of 11/12)

16,000 miles (as of 11/8)

No daily commute--almost entirely weekend (fun!!) miles.

 

28-mile daily roundtrip commute. 15,500 miles in exactly 18 months.

 

Took delivery 12/03 on MINI#1= 19k miles

Took delivery 4/04 on MINI#2= 11k miles

well seeing all these high mileage numbers really puts me at ease, i thought that i was driving a lot more than most. but after seeing the rest, i guess i am about average. :smile: yay

 

I have nearly 15K miles in my 13 month old '04 MCS. We have 26K in our 26 month old '02 Cooper CVT.

 

100 mile a day commute, in 15 months,35k miles

 

I drive 62 miles each way to work driving a 96 Geo metro (believe or not) and I have held out not wanting to make payments on a car that would be out of warranty and upside down so quickly. After doing all that i could to shorten my commute, to no avail, I've decided to buy a car I want, but I'm still hesitant to drive it like my Geo. At least know I know that I'm not alone in this commute, and I know I'm going to enjoy the commute topless. But I'm figuring that I'm driving about 31K w/o any extra driving after work or w/e, as I sometimes have to drive an extra 50 miles during the day at work. I love a car "in warranty" and I thinking about garaging it 2-3 days/wk.

I'll have my MINI 2 years in January and I'll be over 24K miles. Maybe 26K, but not much more. I have a 7 mile commute each day, but this little car is so much fun to drive...I thing just random tooling about with a big grin on my face accounts for no small percentage of my miles.

 

Between 60 and 70 miles per day/3000 per month/24000 per year. I don't know if my numbers add up. Based some on the new car and watching the mileage, and the yearly mileage on the 37K I turned in my previous Cooper with after a year and a half.
I've had the new car just shy of three weeks and have 1200 on it.

 

since April 2003 I'm at 45596 and no long trips. One from San Diego to Vegas and one from San Diego to San Francisco. lots of great back roads here, Ortega Hwy, Hwy 2 sign says curves next 53 miles and in a straight line it is about 30 miles.

Took delivery of this Mini on 2/22/2003.

Daily commute is 15 miles, so most of my miles are long road trips.

I average about 23,676 miles a year, which worls out to be 1973 miles/month (37,500 miles in 19 months), 65.8 miles per day, 2.74 miles per hour, 0.046 miles per minute, 0.00076 miles per second.

Yay for calculators.

 

Mines a 2002 that's just over two years old. I've got 45,000 on it. But that's with another 6k this year on a 65 mustang, and a couple of K more in my wifes MDX...... I must say that with the high price of gas, the Mini got driven on a few more sunny days than I'd anticipated (the Mustang is a convertible).

My daily commute is 31 miles each way, so 300 a week for work.

I live in the hills between the SF bay and Half Moon Bay, so driving is a BLAST too and from home.
