Did you check the clock and sunroof switch as well? The cables have enough length the get them mixed up. Also make sure you haven't pinched any cables. Otherwise I would suggest checking all the cables you unplugged if you haven't yet.

The headliner is still out of the car. My car has the clock down below.

I didn't think I unplugged any air bag connectors, but like you said, maybe it's related to another connector that's still unplugged?

The map light panel up between the mirror and sunroof switch panel has a passenger airbag warning light. If that’s still disconnected it might be triggering the airbag warning in the speedo.

If so, hopefully it’s minor and will reset itself once connected without having to use a scan tool or require a dealer reset.

Oh, ya, I bet that's it. Dang it! Fingers crossed the air bag light goes out when I put the headliner back in next week. I ordered one of those OBD cables from Romania to see if I can program my windows, I think it may work to reset airbag warning too?

OK, should be re-installing headliner soon. For the plastic pillars, should I remove those crazy metal clips from car and install on plastic first then press them back on?

Airbag warning light was definitely the passenger side indicator on the headliner. Hoping to get that cleared as well.

My remote key doesn't lock/unlock car anymore. Is the receiver for that integrated to headliner electronics up front too?

Thanks!

The remote electronics should be in the rear view mirror housing.

re: metal clips, yep, that's how I did it. Used some needle nose pliers to carefully remove them from the car, put them on the plastic pillars, then reinstalled the pillars with headliner in place.

Yes, airbag light went off on its own once the passenger side "tell tale" indicator lamp module was plugged back in.

Also, key fob remote is working again with the rear view mirror plugged back in.
