I don't have the pic but it can be seen here:

Looks like a MINI sponsored Guinness Record event. Anyone who can grab the picture, please do.

Guess it all depends on who you use for the people to stuff in there. I'm sure you could beat that with a buncha grade school kids, or skinny short people. We fit 13 average sized college students in a Chevette once. It got pretty smelly and tight in there pretty damn quick.
I was part of breaking one Guisness record with a MINI, wouldn't mind attempting another. Just gotta round me up 22 average-small people to squish in there.
Cheers,

21 people? Maybe if you limited each to 5 ft and 90 pounds. Hey that would count.

Do you get to remove the seats/floor mats before you put the people in there? That would free up some space. Might be sorta cheating.

Also- no shoes, keep the windows closed so no arms and legs and hanging out, no need to slam the rear hatch closed- just loosely closed is OK.

This can only be possible if you have the Euro Parcel Shelf!

Well, except for the guy near the back, standing in front of the "2" in "21," it looks to me like most of those people aren't much taller than the car! How tall is a MINI? Fifty-six inches - 4'8"?

I'm sure Guinness has some sort of rule about who you can use for car stuffing. No infants, no dwarves?

Hey, Lombard Street! I love your quote, "those aren't grey hairs - they're racing stripes!"

That's what's happening on my head! I have racing stripes! Coooooool! One of Nature's very own mods!

In 1969, I once rode to a Frank Zappa concert and we had 18 teenagers stuffed into the big ol' Chevy wagon. But, we weren't trying to do anything other than hang with our friends and groove to Frank!

I just emailed the pic to my wife. She emailed back, "Maybe we can make a little extra money coming back across the country offering to drive passengers!!!!"

Gotta love her!

Hey, MINIclo - I'm glad you like my sig! I just came up with it last night. I've got these white streaks through my beard, on either side of my chin, and grey at the temples. It sounded so perfect, that I figured I must have heard it somewhere. But this morning, I googled:

"racing stripes" "grey hairs" OR "gray hairs"

...and couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe it's original!

I'm going to get a custom license plate frame with it!

Great idea for the plate frame! You could market them to sporty boomers!

I was more amazed how the suspension and tires were able to handle that much weight.
