I was on the last Hual Triton when it arrived in NYC on 10.30. I know someone from the same dealership who was on the same ship and got hers around 11.5. I, however, still haven't gotten Birdie. Got stuck at VPC from 11.5 - 11.19 (defective bumper). Was released to carrier on 11.19 and as of 11.22 PM, had not been put on a truck yet.

Moral of the story -- could really vary.

Good luck!!!

Jim,
I am also taking delivery at MINI of Towson. The Aida (the ship my baby is on) should have docked in Baltimore yesterday, but I guess I won't hear anything until tomorrow maybe.
Best case scenario it will go through the VPC in 1 day, but I have heard it could be up to three weeks at the VPC.

I am hoping for this Saturday. Optimistic... YES.

My vehicle made it to our shores on the 16th, and is still at the distribution center as far as I know, but is expected to be delivered before Dec 1

Lolo,

Hope your stay at VPC goes better than mine, my baby was on the falstaff that arrived on the morning of the 14th, and as of last night, just arrived at the dealer (long Island). I'm hoping to be driving my DS/B S this time tomorrow.

Hope your turn around is quicker than mine.

Jim

I'm also taking delivery @ Mini Towson. Ben is my motoring advisor. Mine hasn't even shipped yet but I would be interested to know how everything goes when you take delivery. Thanks in advance.

Hey Mandy and telemarkjim......I got my MINI from Towson, too (Benn was my sales person also....very nice guy). On MINI Usa where it says the estimated time of delivery in the Owners Lounge...mine was right on. That could help you get an idea of when the delivery will occur. They will have to PDI your MINI, too, which takes an additional day or three.

Welcome to MCO you guys (and j1mini, too)! Maybe I will see you around!! (I live in Baltimore and we have meets all the time....next one is in Annapolis on December 14th for the Festival of Lights!)

Cheers....
L.Mini
