Ken's R53. Why else would i be here?
So somehow or another I ended up in the MINI world. I kind of blame my sister. She bought a 2010 JCW back in 2010 while she was stationed in Germany, and brought it back with her to the states. Her's was optioned as a auto with paddle shifters and aws kind of fun, but still a auto.
For the last several years i've been into turbo subarus. Because why not? Fast, awd, great in any weather. Can out corner mostly anything i ran up against. But holy god are they boring at the speed limit. Only time they get fun are in the triple digits lol.
So i finally bit the bullet and set out looking for a supercharged mini. Had to be supercharged as I didn't want to deal with another turbo vehicle. Fast forward about 4 months after i started looking. Found a guy in South Carolina that was interested in trading for a WRX wagon i had. So me and the brother in law took a 11hr trip from Ohio. Hopped into a car I knew nothing about, and drove it 600 miles home. While it did it flawlessly, some things weren't as they should've been. (This isn't the place, some told things were not true.) But whatever. Ive been having a blast with this thing and can't wait to push it as far as I can. I have a power goal in mind, and I plan on reaching it while staying supercharged. Not the m45 though...
Current Mod list.

Alta intercooler boots.
CravenSpeed 17% pulley
Alta 2% crank pulley
JCW 380 injectors

launch control/2 step. AKA flame shooter >.>

Mahle forged rods
SneedSpeed forged pistons
Bosch 550 injectors.
Flex fuel system.
Sprintex SC. (looking for a tvs900?)

Anyways. Meet Groot.

Welcome to NAM.
You have joined an enlightened group of individuals that recognize the MINI is a good handling small car. With what you already have along with what you plan on doing, going to have a great performing and handling vehicle.
So tell us, anybody called the car "cute" yet?
Those types are normally not members here . . . .

Yep, have had several older women calling it cute. Even had a old british guy in a 89 classic called it cute. Just laugh and go do a couple interstate pulls to feel better about it lol.

Congrats and welcome. Already has a bunch of mods and nice list. The handling is what makes the MINI so much fun. Find a twisty road and smile the whole way.
