Dilemma...Color????????

I am torn b/w two colors and my order date is in 4 days...

EB/W w/white S-lites or
DS/W w/white S-lites...

If anyone of you have pics of these setups post them to help me get a better picture. Unable to see any in person..

Thanks.

Search your soul.....

You've seen these color schemes on the MINIUSA's configurator, right? Now EB/W is a fun color scheme....fun, happy, fun, happy. DS/W is more moody, classy, understated.

Want to draw attention?.....try EB. Want to look dead cool?.....try DS. The two color schemes definitely emote different vibes.

This may not be much help but, imo, color selection (especially your two finalists) have a lot to do with psychology (or something related??!??!? )

In the end, both are fantastic! Agonize away, my friend, this is the gut-wrenching stuff that makes your MINI uniquely yours. You'll love it!!!

Good choices. It is the toughest decision for most members. I simply had a hard time coughing up $400+ for metallic paint that is going to fade in So. California's sunny climate. I was between LY and CR with black roofs before PW was available on the MCS.

"If anyone of you have pics of these setups post them to help me get a better picture". Here you go....

I think of the 2 my vote goes for Electric Blue. It is a more "Happy" color than Dark Silver. There are TOO MANY silver MINIs and not that many Electric Blues.

I REALLY like the way JDS said it. He hit the nail on the head. If you want to be different, get the EB. If you want to be Classy and understated, get the DS. I'm anxious to find out what you choose!

Personally, between the two? I would go EB/W

If it's not BRG then the colour you choose is not that important

Go for the EB with white 16" wheels. There are already too many MINIs in dark silver.

EB/W, there are a lot of DS, anyway, I don't like the DS with the white wheels. The white wheels look great with the EB, though.

Enjoy!

If it were me, I'd go EB/W, too. I'm still mad that EB is not a Cooper color here in the States LIKE IT IS EVERYWHERE ELSE IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE!!!
(...that's the only thing that's kept me from an '05.....just as well I suppose. )

When I ordered my '02 MCS my first choice was IB/W, but the color wasn't yet available. I ordered an EB/W and then kept going back to the dealership to compare it with DS and finally changed my order to DS/W with 16" silver V-spoke wheels. I agree with jds that it presents a 'cool' look, but I also added white bonnet stripes and a silver M7 grill that give it a fun look as well.....nice balance. With hindsight, I would still make the same choices.

Always go with your first choice...one of them had to come to you first...then you know "hey it was my first choice" and if it really bothers you you can always get another!!!

CR/B

And save yourself some $$ and space the S-lites in favor of the R84 V-spokes. Much lighter (about 10 lbs each) and you will feel the difference in ride and agility. Too many Minis with S-lites out there, plus too many S-lites on the market.
