Is a worn out Supercharger worth anything

The SC on my 06 MCS kicked the bucket at 133,000 miles. Is the old Supercharger worth anything or should I just send it to the recycle bin?

Thanks !

what does worn out mean? You can get them rebuilt depending on what's wrong with it, 06 is coated too

It made quite a bit of noise on the passenger side before it seized up. I have not opened it up yet to see what the damage is.

I already had a spare on the shelf that was used as a replacement and the Mini is back on the road.

pic #1 looks like an espresso grinder that hasn't been clean for a decade. at least the grind is fine, but begs the question is the particle size distribution, which is an important metric of a good grinder.

Not sure what the market is these days, but I wouldn't pay $200 for a SC that needs new PTO gears. Condition of the rotors is key though.

Yes, hard to tell. People will want some of those parts for a rebuild. Yikes that gear looks like a grinder machine with shavings.

Is there a typical mileage that most superchargers have been failing at? I understand there will always be outliers and one-offs but any trends?

I have seen some go at 100K and because of that oil leak and then the damaged wheel. I have seen ones that have the fluid changed and seals checked last 150K plus.
