ECS Tuning has OEM radiator hoses ON SALE...Cheap. I just saw them in the clearance/Sale Section.

Any any orders over 50 dollars ship free !

They last longer and IMO more reliable for a daily driver than the aftermarket silicone hoses.

I've always heard of people having issues with the silicone hoses....especially on daily drivers. Sure, they look cool.....but if one splits open on your, or develops a big leak on your way home from work....it's going to stink.

If it was me, I would stick with oem hoses.

Silicone coolant hoses

Does anyone have actual experience with silicone hose replacements? Not conjecture. Mishimoto makes a full set for about $189. Does coolant evaporate faster with silicone. Do they seal as good? Do they take the pressure? Real experience please. We are in colorado with cold winters and hot summers.
Thanks, DR

When I have a hard to fine hose I check
http://www.hps-siliconehoses.com
and they have been good in the past.

Not always the cheapest, but I've completed my project.

I had a silicone hose set on Jango, my first R53. I kept the car for about 2 years after I put them on and didn't have a single problem. It was a daily driver in Texas (lots of summer heat... little winter freezing temp).

I love the look of the silicone hoses, but they are a PITA to keep looking fresh and clean (brush up against 'em with a greasy hand and you are stuck cleaning forever). The black OEM hoses are much easier to deal with.
