R50/53 Red Supercharger clip
Red Supercharger clip
While changing the water pump and removing the SC, I broke one of the red clips that hold the vacuum lines on. Searched all kinds of sites for this item to no avail. Is there somewhere to purchase these?
There are other threads here on water pump change and those clips. I believe you have to buy an entire new black plastic duct and it is very expensive from what I read. You may be able to go to a junk yard and find.
I just changed my water pump, did so without removing the supercharger nor the vacuum lines help in place with those clips. The key is to remove the 3 bolts holding the small round metal duct system on the far right side of the SC assembly, you can then access the water pump. There is one video on this method, but the 3rd bolt is a PIA.

Assume the clip you are talking about is shown in the picture below. Appears the duct is around $145, not as bad as I first thought. I got thinking and you might be able to thread a brass water line compression fitting, see the second link. Would think the flexible tube would provide enough vibration isolation so the compression fitting would stay in place.

red clip
That is a good idea. There are posts here with supercharger rebuilding companies and some of the vendors that monitor this site will probably chime in as well.
