Hi so I need new muffler brackets and I will order the genuine ones possiblity ($150 though) so I cant really drive my car since it is the cooper s with two mufflers so are there any good and super cheap ways I can get that hanging where it belongs so I can stop using mommys car.

Thanks

Really?! I couldnt seem to find any that would work remember I need ones that look like this because I have the older S model and the mounts are turned to one side on each top bracket.

Yes for now I'm going to try some chains and chain links to go behind the rubber hangers and under/around the muffler....if this works in the long wrong great but if it gets me buy for a week I'll order some real hangers but first check my muffler shops.

(All of the muffler shops are to American by me though and will not know what to do probably or charge a ton of money )

Thanks for the tips!

Some pretty good spatial ability. If you are going to leave it for any amount of time I would put some asbestos strap between the chain and the muffler so that the chain does not rub a hole in the muffler sheet metal.
