anyone have the cool bag from MINI? it goes in the trunk and plugs in to keep cool....look's cool I think I might want it but wanna hear a review....

 

I have thought about getting one. Of course the MINI logo would be cool on it but Target has a similar one for $39.

 

I got one for a great price form a person who never used it and I love it. For short trips to the beach I’ll use something smaller, but for road trips it can’t be beat. It cools down fast and keeps everything nice and cold. You can pack it with warm soda, water whatever and it’s cold in no time.

 

I don't know about the MINI version, but we bought the "$39 Target version..." it doesn't really work very well... basically $39 wasted... We've tried everything... chilled item in fridge first... let the unit run inside (on adapter power) to get cool... still works no better than simply putting sodas in a cooler with a couple of freezer packs.

JerseyGirl's parents bought a more expensive version they use all the time and it seems to work much better.

 

Not sure about the Target version, but the MINI cooler is hard plastic covered in nylon with insulation between. I've put frozen things in mine and are still hard after a day of driving.
