R50/53 Happy Birthday "RB"!!!!
Happy Birthday "RB"!!!!
My '04 MCS is now officially 1 year old!
The most troublefree car I have ever owned. 12,200+ miles and no problems to speak of, in fact "RB" has not seen the dealer's service dept for any kind of warranty repairs, with the exception of the 10K mile scheduled service stop.
The car still looks brand new, the Chili Red paint has hold extremely well under the Florida sun, zero rattles or squeaks, The A/C is so cold and efficient you can hang meat on the dashboard vents. The H/K stereo pumps out the notes with gusto and the car runs like the finest piece of Swiss watchwork. No windshield problems either
But most important of all, it is an absolute hoot to drive and turns heads here and there. Love the fuel economy, the supercharger whine and the slick 6-speed Getrag is an absolute delight!
My MCS is still bone stock and probably will stay that way for a while longer.
What a car!!!

Happy Birthday RB!
Hmm? What to do to celebrate?
How about a warm bath/wash and wax/detailing?
Go for a drive- a little one or maybe a big one! Road trip.
Sign up for a Driving school or driving event. Have some fun. Celebrate!
Go to an autocross and enter in the stock class. Just wear shoes and get a Snell 90 rated or better helmet (can be rented).
Decorate your MINI with balloons and streamers- who said that was only for newlyweds!
