Part number of tailpipe trim needed

I have a 2005 (non-S), and am trying to find the MINI part number for the tailpipe trim. Long story short... got a new muffler and they didn't swap the tips. I'm waiting till tomorrow to call to see if they already got rid of the exhaust, but, well, until then I figure I might as well fret and try to figure out my next plan of action. I checked Amazon, eBay, google, but couldn't find exactly what I remember it looked like - all the tips I see don't look like a soda can (that is, the end looks rounded and not curved like I recall). I could possibly check some local junkyards.

It was stupid of me to not mention it needed to be transferred, but I've never had the muffler changed, and I kind of sort of figured they would know it was a decorative tip.

Sigh.

The tip is available from a site sponsor like ECS, or used. Their are a few cars being parted out in the parts for sale section here.

I've seen the "original equipment" ones, but they just don't look like they have the proper shape. I'll post in the classifieds tomorrow if they junked my exhaust. It took me a bit of searching, but I found a few on eBay that are used that seem to look correct.

They still had the muffler, and the owner of the shop was surprised his guys didn't transfer it to the new muffler. They aren't a MINI-specific shop, so probably aren't too aware of things like this. I'm picking up the exhaust tip today.

I picked it up. So... any "tips" on installing it? Do I need to torque the set screw to a specific setting (I don't have a torque wrench)? Since it sounds like it will be difficult to find a original replacement, except eBay perhaps, I don't want to lose this one.

Thanks!
