I know there were rumors earlier that Madonna had bought a MINI. Well now there is proof. This weeks US Magazine has a picture of Madonna driving her MINI Cooper S, (all black?) with European license plates. (November 25, 2002 Issue)

Whether you like her or not, you have to admit, she has outstanding taste in motor vehicles. :smile:

Maybe she has a MINI at each of her secret European and Island fortresses, so perhaps the euro plates are legit. . .

 

she lives in london w/her hubby Guy Ritchie, it's legit.

 

I wonder if she named it after herself, like her daughter Lourdes???

Seconded! And I don't think she's much of a singer. If it were any other vehicle, knowing she had one would make me think twice about buying.

I think Madonna is still pretty hot looking, even now in her mid 40's. There are aspects of her personality that I don't agree with or like but I think she is still an icon of American pop music from the 1980's. I take her anyday over the alien/clownish looking Michael Jackson.

Whether she has 1 or 20 MINIs...good for her! It just goes to reinforce the fact that the MINI is a "statusless" car that equally appeals to Celebs and Joe Six Packs alike.

 

I love her older music, but I find her highly annoying. At least she has good taste in cars.

 

I find her current persona vastly amusing. I mean, she's been a tramp, a vixen, a ball buster, a cold business woman, a Spanish lolita, disco trash, club diva, Monroe, etc. .....and now she's a money grubbing sellout. It's histerical. I mean, geeze, I heard her song. "Secret" being used for a GM commercial. A FREAKIN' GM COMMERCIAL!!! And then the James Bond title track. She seems more intent on improving her financial empire than creating pop music anymore. I still like her though, don't get me wrong. I like the fact that she can totally reinvent herself. The sellout is just yet another persona.

I liked her old stuff, some of her new stuff is OK. I don't think much about her but she does have some talent, more than Brittany Spears. I do love the BMW film "Star". That's was funny.
