Hi all,

Just bought my 2nd R53 and I'm finding that the I have to REALLY slam the boot hard to get my boot/bonnet light to turn off and my dome lights to shut off when I lock the car.

I found an old thread on the subject, but did not see a definitive fix.

Somebody said it has to do with the OEM sensor "plunger" being too short.

Can anyone help me to identify this where this plunger is and how I may be able to alleviate this frustrating issue?

Its in the door lock itself. 51242754528 I would check the wiring to make sure nothing is cut either near the lock itself.
