Will this clear CVT transmission adaptations?

I bought one but can't find that anywhere.

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately, the Schwaben will not reset the CVT adaptations. That's the only thing I've found it won't do. (Very frustrating!) I am not sure any of the non-professional grade scanners can do it. I believe you need INPA. I reset my daughter's R50 CVT about six years ago after changing the transmission fluid and I believe I used INPA. You can find adapters for laptops with the INPA software on Amazon and Ebay. Search the forums here for recommended sellers and if you don't find any here, let me know and I'll search some of the BMW forums.

Thanks.

I don't have INPA but did do the NCS Expert thing once. It really creeped me out as at one point I thought I killed the brainbox and wasn't able to reload the original program. Fortunately, the next morning it let me back in and allowed the reload.

Never again!
