R50/53 Snow Performance Stage 2 Boost Cooler, Anyone using?

Snow Performance Stage 2 Boost Cooler, Anyone using?

Im not looking to argue about which kit is the best, I bought this kit for specific reasons.

Im curious about how people have hooked this kit up. The supplied tube to read boost pressure is a very small diameter, and I dont think its long enough to reach much. How do you have it hooked up?

I was either going to get this kit or the AEM. as for the vacuum hose, you can get more at any auto parts store in multiple different diameters

Its not a normal hose. Its super small diameter. Ive never seen it in any store.

do you know how small? is that supposed to be plumbed into the intake manifold?

Bumping this to try to find an answer to my question. The tube is for sure not long enough to reach the FPR, which seems to be the most common place to tap for a boost gauge.

What did SNOW say when you contacted them about getting a longer hose?

Is "FPR" fuel pressure regulator?

The hose is part of the gauge. So I havent contacted them yet, as I dont think they can really help with that.

FPR is fuel pressure regulator, yes.

FPR is fuel pressure regulator, yes.
I have a different SC setup on a different car with boost/vacuum gauge, but you generally plumb the boost gauge into one of the vacuum lines under the hood. Not sure where the FPR is on our cars, but usually it is towards the rear of the car, not the front.

Are you sure you need to attach the line to the FPR?

If the system needs a boost reference to know when to start injecting, then the FPR source is going to be the easiest to tap into.

The FPR is on the bottom of the fuel rail, you'll need to remove the intercooler to get to it.
