hooked, line and sinker

hey you all. happy to find a group of nut heads like me. a bit about myself...
i used to run and race toyota trucks. did a bunch of stuff up in new england, had a blast in it. BUT! it was time to change it up a little... and i mean Little. i love this old thing, mine being a 2008 clubman w/118,000 on the OD, in what they call Lunar Mist(?). i have to say it (the clubman) is by far the best looking mini out there. for me it says speed just bu the slightly stretched body it has.
so fare, after a majority of the sensors under the hood got replaced, i have done a Alta rear 22mm sway bar w/ Alta Adj links, rear struts and some of the bushings. a Stage II brake kit from Outmotoring, drilled, slotted with stell lines and some new fluid.. works VERY well... and a home brew cold air intake for less than $50. still want/need a hole in my hood.
inside i did the REMUS Responder, i have an automatic.yeah,yeah,yeah.i know!!! i have back issues and the left leg and i don't see eye to eye all the time. but i digress. the REMUS, oh yeah!!! best bang for my buck so far. By far the most noticeable upgrade after switching from the (yuck) 15" rims to the 17" SPARCO Drifts w/ 205 45 17" ExtremecontactDWS06 from Continental. very very good tire!!! WEEEEE is the thought here!!

2008 not so stock non s clubman with its single poo shoot. lol

im not a big chrome fan, so out with the stuff. ill be doing a matt finish on the new Ebay'd front clip. im thinking Rhino Liner???

so far up front is a set of struts,an Adj link set from Alta. front sway bar bushings are on there way. along with the lower motor mount and a few other items..

Welcome. Coming from Toyotas, there are some things that you get in the habit of with a MINI. First and foremost, change your oil early and often. Don't go more than 5,000 miles between changes.
