Thump noise upfront... what could it be?

So, just recently (within a week) I started hearing this thump noise coming what seems like from driver side front. Its like a metal hitting another metal piece. It sounds almost like when control arm bushings are out, except louder. I am pretty sure it cannot be control arm bushings, as I changed them to polyurethane ones less than 2k miles ago. What could it be? Ball joints? Is there any way to check for something (like wheel play, etc.) This is not related to coilovers either, as I have brand new Megan Racing ones (I also run 27mm H&R front sway bar and Alta end links, if that helps). Any suggestion would be appreciated

The fact that this just started and you say everything is brand new, which leads me to assume just installed, would have me going over and double checking everything I had installed and make sure everything is good and tight. What did you do about strut mounts? Did the coilovers come with camber plates?

Have you check the ball joints or tie rods recently?

How'd your motor mounts look?

Control arm bushings, lower motor mount were installed about 2k miles ago, and worked perfectly for the last 6 or so months. Yes, coilovers came with camber plates, and seemed to be all tight after visual and hand "shake" test

How would I check ball joints and tie rods? Is there method to it?

First, check swaybar drop links. Then check your ball joints. While you're under there, do a nut-and-bolt of all of the fasteners you removed to do the control arm bushings.
