2005 Headlights

Noob question guys so sorry in advance.

Which bulbs are needed for my 05 MCS? Is there an easy way to tell if I have standards or HIDs? I've honestly never paid much attention to my headlights, but I wanna get the yellow bulbs for all my lenses up front.

Sorry for the dumb question, I'm just not in a place to do proper research at the moment.

In the 05+ cars they went to the projector style Xenons, so if you have projector housings you have Xenon HID, if not then you have halogens.

Facelift headlight Xenon

Facelift Halogen

Halogen

Xenon

Part numbers for bulbs HERE. You could also put yellow tint on your lights instead of changing the bulbs to yellow, if you like the look of course.

No dumb questions.

The halogens dont have the projectors but the Xenon do . Big change over in 7/2004+ production. Watch not to touch the bulbs, if you do do the yellow they H7 upper and H7 lowers. If you have the Xenons , the H7 will he the lower high beams and low beam xenons are the D2S .
