Possible to retrofit euro headlight level to US-spec R53

Good morning, y'all! Question for the more tech savvy folks on here: my OCD is gnawing at me with the switch blank in my euro parcel shelf. On the euro-spec cars there is a headlight level switch in that blanks place. Is it possible to install and wire in the manual headlight level switch and have it functional or am I just going to have to chill on my OCD? I understand doing so would bypass the US-spec auto level switches on the suspension.

Thanks in advance for the input!

Yea, its a factory part in certain counties that require the manual adjustment.

Pics here:

You would have to wire it to the motor of the headlight to it to adjust. Most people run the blank below or use it for an aftermarket switch.

More info:

You dont have the wires, so you would have to make something custom.

Thanks for the input, ECS, you are correct with what I am trying to do. I abhor aftermarket switches as they always look out of place (in my opinion). My OCD is a bit extreme: I went so far as to obtain switches and pigtail harnesses for my '02 4Runner to disable the daytime running lights, power antenna, and VSC/Trac system!

As for my MCS, the wires won't be too much of an issue as I was able to obtain a euro switch with pigtail harness. I'd planned on running them when I install my driving light set but I will have to search for the wiring diagram to perform the conversion. I was hoping someone else had done this before and could get some guidance from them but alas my search of NAM turned up nothing.

Welcome.

Yea, not too much about these rare older euro parts. Most people I have seen put the rally light factory switch , or a rocker switch. Only seen it in euro cars but that was factory.

If i find anything i will post up.
