Gave a good effort to search for this but didn't find my specific problem.
Was changing oil today and (aside from being unable to get the oil filter housing off... Grrrrrrr) noticed that the power steering fan did not come on when the AC was on. Moves freely and without crunchiness etc. Checked fuses and they were fine. Does the fan need to be replaced?
Getting the low speed resistor swapped out soon as well. Going to do belt and tensioner while in there. Any other while I'm in there stuff that's recommended to do?

 

The fan should kick on with the A/C, sometimes it takes a minute or two if you are on cold start up. If it still does not work some people will test it with a jumper and 12v . If it does not come on replace it asap. There is an extended warranty on the pump and the fan, so have that checked out first on mileage and year
