Just wondering if it's possible to put the 06 ECU into my 03 without any problems. I found an 06 with lots of mods at a junkyard and the owners are from my home country so i can score a good deal on lots of parts.

Anyways, i'm interested in having the pops and ''backfires'' of the 05+ R53's and was wondering if changing out the ECU will accomplish that.

Also, i'm afraid of having the dealership update my ECU since i think my car is tuned.

ALSO: if anybody is looking for a transmission, this junkyard has one with LSD from a 06 R53 that's modded. Has a lot of other cool parts too.

Wiring harness is slightly different on the refresh cars....an extra sensor was added.
