coolant flange torque specs?

does anyone have the torque specs for the coolant flange that bolts to the front of the block on the engine on a 2005 mini cooper S? currently replacing my water pump, ive heard 30 ft-lbs and ive also heard 6-9 ft-lbs. the bolts are just two 10mm bolts. the part im talking about is here.

Some of these numbers are hard to find or decipher which part they are actually referring to. Anyway, my resources say 8-12 NM (seems to be the same part listed 2 ways) so 6-9 ft-lbs is right--it's only a 6mm bolt and you only really need to compress the o-ring to seal the flange--9 ft-lbs won't hurt the bolt or the o-ring ( I use 9).
