My father-in-law had this pamphlet/book called "Man of metal" I can't remember who wrote it or where he got it but it was a story involving supposed ufo sightings around Oxford and how this journalist (who eventually writes this pamphlet) goes on to investigate and finds this web page of Dr. Mayhew who has built this robot out of a MINI. It was amusing to read and I don't know if it's true or not but the above web site has some interesting pictures. I haven't watched any of the movies yet but I figured others here would enjoy reading/discussing it.

Interesting intro page to MINI-USA though. I'll give it that. Pretty cool. But uh........there's no way I'm using 144 pieces of paper and who knows how many ink cartridges for that mega MINI-bot poster idea.
