What can I get for it?

This is basically a feeler thread so I can determine if I should part out or sell the car as is.
02 r53, 130k miles. I'm the 3rd owner, one accident on carfax back in 06 or something, no residual issues from that. I've owned it for 2.5 years been a great car, no supercharger noise, pulls strong and smooth, have done quite alot of maintenance/upgrades. PA inspection just passed a few weeks ago no issues.
It started as a red/white but had black vinyl roof and plastidip mirrors so it can be converted back to white.
35% tint on side windows
Megan coilovers
Rotiform NUE wheels 17x8 et30 with 75% tread on tires
Alta lower rear adjustable control arms
M7 strut brace
Hawk hps brake pads
New solid rotors with pad install 20k miles ago, plenty of life left.
Ireland engineering stainless steel brake lines
Alta 15% pulley
Alta cold air intake
Power flex motor/trans bushings
Oem front control arm bushings about 10k miles ago
New plugs every 10k miles or so
New Thermostat and full coolant system flush using bmw blue coolant
New oil pan gasket
New oem oil dipstick
New crank sensor o-ring
Trans fluid flush
Tensioner/pulley, idler pulley and belt just done a few weeks ago
Upgraded clutch by previous owner about 40k miles ago (can't remember specs, but is a mild daily driver clutch)
New battery about 6 months ago
Faux black suede shift boot and parking brake covers
Dark charcoal custom roof liner
Eight ball shift ****
Blacked out interior trim
Blacked out some (not all) exterior chrome
Interior is an 8/10, not much to complain about
Exterior is a 7.5/10 a few minor chips here and there but no dings and good overall for this year

Edit: almost forgot I have a Yakima roof rack and fairing to throw in.
Also a second set of oem 16" "x lite" wheels with usable tires, little tread left

Nice car. Glws.

I've had mine listed for a while with 55k and an RMW spec engine. No one seems to want the earlier 02 to 04 cars. Opting for the 05 06.. or even a jcw. I've owned an 05 before this 02. There is little difference.

I think you will be competing with 05 or 06 cars at that price point especially with only basic mods most people won't be interested. If you find some one who wants to do auto x it could be a different story

Thanks for the feedback. I'll admit I was fishing for a response saying I wanted 9500 . I am sure I won't get anywhere near that.
I know what kbb says but sometimes niche cars can inflate a tad.

Basically the year is gonna kill the value, the improvements of the 05-06s raise the value quite a bit. Maybe 6000 would be my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback! The way my estimates come out I'm pretty close to getting the same aount whether I part out or sell with all mods on it.
Time is a big factor for me, not just the labor to swap suspension but the time required to post the ads, haggle prices, meet to transact, etc.

Any opinions on whether to return to stock or sell as is?

If you were to part the car out you will see between 4 and 5k$ (6k$ on the outside but it will take months), but you will have a lot of work involved.

I have parted out 2 MINIs so far and that is about what I have pulled out of each, but both times the cars basically spec'ed out as 05/06 cars.

You have some nice after market parts that will make up the difference, example the 3 spoke 05/06 steering wheel is a popular part, the 2 spoke you might as well throw in the trash.

Your best bet is an outright sale at a reasonable number you put that car for 6500 and it WILL sell.
